Thanks so much for playing our Wedding recently. Not every band is flexible enough to play outdoors and has all the right equipment! Everyone loved your music set and we really appreciated that you went the extra mile and learned a few extra special numbers for us. It was a great night!

A regular Friday night party at the Sandbar, playing music from 9pm til midnight.  We kept the mixed age group crowd on the dance floor right til last drinks were called.  The first of many regular appearances....  See Video for footage from past gigs.

Mathew & Lindsay's Wedding Reception

A wedding reception for approx. 150 guests held beneath the atmospheric forest canopy in the Tatum Park 'fire circle' area.

Where:  Tatum Park, Otaki - under the forest canopy

When:  November 2014, 9pm til 11pm

Logistics:  Provided full PA and lighting show, music for two hours

An intimate party for approx. 40 guests held at the Paekakariki Volunteer Fire Station.  Guests rocked out til the wee hours and wanted to keep going!  

Where:  Paekakriki Volunteer Fire Station, Tilley Road

When:  December 2014, 8.30pm til 12.30am

Logistics:  Provided full PA and basic lighting, music for four hours

Paekakariki Volunteer Fire Service Christmas Party

A belated wedding party for approx. 100 guests held inside the Wainuiomata Volunteer Fire Station.  Entertainment for the evening included a fire callout which we didn't even see or hear over the music.  We love fire stations and they love us!

Where:  Wainuiomata Volunteer Fire Station, Fitzherbert Road

When:  April 2014, 8pm til 11pm

Logistics:  Provided full PA and full lighting show, music for three hours

Josh & Jessie's Wedding Party

Our debut party for approx. 250 guests held in a airport hangar-style garage at a private address in the Belmont Hills.  Beautiful setting,  salsa dancers on tap, and no neighbours to keep awake!

Where:  Crestview Road, Belmont Hills, Lower Hutt

When:  November 2013, 8pm til 12pm

Logistics:  Provided full PA and full lighting show, music for four hours

The Great Shed Gig in the Sky

A corporate Christmas party for approx. 50 guests held at the SkillsActive offices off Tory Street, Wellington City.  Excellent use of the photo booth was made between sets....

SkillsActive Christmas Party

iO played their debut Gig in the top shed up home which they billed  “The Great Shed Gig in the Sky” and it was just that. GREAT. Couldn’t have asked for a better night. Just magic.

UPCOMING GIGS

Public Event: Upper Hutt City of Song, January 2016

An annual, free public event to fundraise for the Wellington Free Ambulance.  As well as a selection of our standard repertoire, we performed a song (with poetry reading in the middle) written by David Collinge for the charity Red Door recovery: The Pipe Down Project, raising awareness of methamphetamind addiction and promotion of a new rehab clinic opening in Wellington in 2016.

Where:  Harcourt Park, Akatarawa Road, Upper Hutt

Logistics:  Ourselves and our gear, an appreciative audience and 30 mins of live music

Private Charity Event: Red Door Recovery Art Auction

A private charity fundraiser auctioning art by New Zealand artist Kevin John Dunkley, as well as a muscle car, a beloved Vespa and an electric guitar to fundraise for the methamphetamine treatment clinic run by Red Door Recovery.  Keynote speaker was Tom Scott.
